German airline giant Lufthansa more than doubled its profits in 2023, extending a rebound from the coronavirus pandemic even as it faces fresh risks from a wave of industrial action. The group reported a net profit of 1.67 billion euros ($1.82 billion), up substantially from a figure of 791 million euros in 2022. أعلنت مجموعة لوفتهانزا الألمانية، اليوم الأربعاء، اعتزامها استئناف رحلاتها الجوية إلى دبي تدريجياً اعتباراً من أواخر أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 2026.
وقالت المجموعة في بيان إن شركات الطيران التابعة لها ستشغل ما يصل إلى 36 رحلة أسبوعياً من دبي وإليها خلال فترات ذروة التشغيل.
وأضافت أن الاستئناف التدريجي للرحلات سيعزز عمليات المجموعة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، إلى جانب توسيع خيارات السفر بشكل كبير أمام عملاء قطاعي الأعمال والترفيه.
وأوضحت لوفتهانزا أن عودة الرحلات إلى دبي تأتي في إطار خططها لتعزيز شبكة وجهاتها الإقليمية والدولية، والاستفادة من أهمية الإمارة بوصفها أحد أبرز مراكز السفر والنقل الجوي في المنطقة.
